Built in 1938 in Cowes on the Isle of Wight by Saunders Roe, Betsie Jane has a rich history. Now fully restored she is a time capsule allowing you to take a glimpse back at life aboard a 1930s gentleman's launch. From the lustre of the deep varnish to the smell of the teak, Betsie Jane offers you the chance to experience an authentic luxury classic motor boat experience.
With 1930's jazz coming from the vintage bakelite radio aboard and locally sourced Gin, this is a luxurious evening spent aboard a very special boat. Perfect to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or just to enjoy a special night out this cruise up the River Hamble is the ideal way to start your evening in style.
To ensure you are able to revel in the timeless class of Betsie Jane we have sourced the very finest drinks to accompany your River Cruise. As the traditional drink of sailors, we serve Wight Mermaids Gin accompanied by the delightful botanic tastes of the finest Fever Tree tonic. Distilled on the Isle of Wight, Mermaids Gin uses the very best local ingredients from locations such as Steephill Cove and accompanies Betsie Jane's rich Isle of Wight history perfectly. We also stock the Rock Sea Vodka from the Isle of Wight distillery, a selection of a locally brewed real ales and a range of specially selected alcohol free drinks.

Betsie Jane is crewed by a professional Skipper and Mate, who will be on hand to look after you throughout your trip. If you are booking individual spaces you will share your experience with other individuals, couples or small groups.
There will be a maximum of 10 guests on board.
The price includes your drinks aboard and a selection of light snacks. Special diets catered for - notify us at the time of booking. Participants must be aged 18 or over.
We run a challenge 25 policy and if you look under 25 we will need to see ID before you board the boat for our Gin and Jazz cruise.
There is no upper age limit for Betsie Jane. We welcome participants with disabilities, however to retain the historic nature of Betsie Jane we are limited in the adaptations we are able to make to the vessel. Participants will need to walk down two steep steps to get onto the boat and unfortunately Betsie Jane is not adapted to take wheelchairs aboard.
